Open since 2009 as the Federal Republic of Germany’s first cultural institute in Portuguese-speaking Africa, the Goethe-Institut operates on a global scale, promoting cultural exchange between Germany, Angola and the rest of the world through German language courses and further training programmes for professionals in the cultural sector and in the internationalisation of creative enterprises.
